NI gives GigOptix its second global supplier quality award

GigOptix won the National Instruments (NI) Global Supplier Award for 2010 in recognition of exceptional performance for quality and reliability of ASIC products supplied to NI. The award was given on NI Week 2010, during which NI showcases its latest products and offerings to its customers and partners.

GigOptix has been an NI partner for over six years, and, during this time, GigOptix solutions have been designed into multiple NI products. These products address a variety of end markets, including Test & Measurement, Industrial and Medical.

Director of Global Supply Chain at National Instruments, Scott Christman says, "The Global Supplier Quality Award recognizes key suppliers who have demonstrated outstanding product quality to National Instruments. We are pleased to honor GigOptix with this award for the second consecutive year."

In turn, director of marketing at GigOptix, Anil Chaudhry says, "The NI Global Supplier Quality Award is received by a very select number of suppliers, and we are extremely proud to have received this honor."He adds that NI holds its suppliers to the highest quality standards, which makes the award "exceptionally gratifying" for their team.
