Tanner EDA says 2010 revenue up 17%

In a statement, the company credited strong revenue growth in its North America, Central and South
America, and the Middle East markets. Tanner EDA said it added 125 new customers in the fiscal year, including companies in life sciences, sensors and imagers and intellectual property (IP).
The company also saw strong growth in its product line. Its HiPer Silicon full-flow analog tool suite, used to design products such as MEMS, analog/ mixed-signal ICs, power management sub-systems, sensors, imagers and medical devices, was updated to version 15, which includes a new
database for simulation data, a new waveform viewer, an enhanced signal analysis platform, and a new tool for device and structure generation called HiPer DevGen.
In terms of customer support, Tanner EDA tapped three new distributorsAdvino Technologies Pte. Ltd for Southeast Asia, DaouXilicon Inc. for South Korea, and Kelleher Systems for North America.
