Elma offers standard, hot-swap, offset, and ESD versions of its handles, which are used in a range of custom and standard architectures, including CompactPCI, VME/VME64x, VXS, and VPX boards. They are available with or without an ESD pin and a 0.1in offset per the PICMG 2.11 R1.0 power interface specification.
Elma's IEEE handles are unlocked using a button mechanism that uses a two-step latching process. An optional microswitch signals that the board is unlocking, activating the blue LED for hot-swap.
The handles' color options include black and gray though customers may also specify their own.
Elma injector/ejector handles are also available in AdvancedTCA, Classic, IEC, MicroTCA, Low Profile, and Long Low Profile styles.
