Element14 portal gives out free kits

Element14, formerly known as Farnell Newark, is giving away toolkits for customers in the region as part of the brand launch.

Customers will be rewarded free limited edition toolkits through element14 until January 2011. The toolkits are worth between $233 and $660 and include 14 to 16 tools commonly used by engineers in the design and maintenance, repair and operations sectors. The tools featured in these toolkits are from the brands Tenma and Duratool.

Marc Grange, head of product management, element14, described their inventory as including 120,000 different products from 3,500 suppliers. The products include connectors, semiconductors, electromechanical and passives, and are delivered the next-day.

The complementary Element14 toolkits are available with minimum purchase.
