CSSP platform has visual enhancement engine, digital optimizer

Low power Customer Specific Standard Products (CSSPs) specialist, QuickLogic Corporation, has just announced production availability of the second member of the ArcticLink II VX CSSP solution platform, the VX4, featuring Visual Enhancement Engine (VEE) and Display Power Optimizer (DPO) Proven System Blocks (PSBs) with a Mobile Display Digital Interface (MDDI).
VP of worldwide marketing for QuickLogic, Brian Faith says, "The production availability of the VX4 CSSP solution platform allows QuickLogic's CSSPs to be easily integrated into Qualcomm-based smartphones. Our fully tested software support for Android, Windows Mobile and Windows Phone operating systems, enables us to provide system-proven and verified, complete solutions for our customers."
The ArcticLink II VX4 Solution Platform offers an MDDI Type 2 interface for incoming display data. QuickLogic has system-verified the MDDI Type 2 (dual lane) client operating at 60fps with up to 854x480 resolution.
The ArcticLink II VX4 solution platform is available immediately for inclusion in CSSPs customized by QuickLogic for OEM adoption.
