NetLogic bags GSA award

NetLogic Microsystems Inc. received the 2010 Most Respected Emerging Public Semiconductor Company Award in the $500 million category,from the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA). This is the second consecutive year that the manufacturer of multicore processors, knowledge-based processors, and other network products, was voted by its industry peers, customers, partners and members of the GSA as having the most respect of the industry in terms of its products, leadership, vision and future opportunities.

The award was presented to Ron Jankov, president and CEO, NetLogic Microsystems.

In addition to NetLogic, the GSA awarded Broadcom Corp. and Intel Corp. the Most Respected Company recognition in the $500 million to $10 billion and the $10+ billion categories, respectively..

"We are honored to receive this top recognition from our peers in the semiconductor industry for the second year running," said Jankov. "This is a tribute to the excellence and dedication of our global NetLogic Microsystems team for the extraordinary accomplishments in 2010.
