Aeroflex to acquire Korean firm鈥檚 spectrum analyzer assets

U.K.-based Aeroflex Ltd. will acquire the spectrum analyzer assets of South Korea锟絪 LIGNex1 Co. Ltd.

Under the asset purchase agreement signed by both companies, the primary assets include bench-top spectrum analyzer product lines such as the 2399C, 2394A and 2395A spectrum analyzers, and the newer 3250 series along with their respective intellectual property. Aeroflex previously sold all these products under its own brand.

"The long relationship of Aeroflex and LIGNex1 will allow a smooth transition of this product line without any loss of customer support throughout the process," said Robert Vogel, president of Aeroflex Test Solutions.
