SD analyzer offers unlimited data capture

Elan Digital announces the shipping of the SDPA1000 SD Analyzer with real time data analysis and unlimited data capture. The analyzer offers engineers real time-savings when designing and/or de-bugging SD compliant interface equipment.

The analyzer is powered from the USB2.0 host port on any PC and supports any SD/SDHC/SDIO device. It offers a POD that allows the SD signals to be 'intercepted' and recorded on the PC hard drive.

JAVA-based application software is provided. This is automatically updated via the Web to provide signals decoding and includes information about clock and power lines during the analysis period. Customer-defined triggering options are included in the application.

The company claims the analyzer delivers the same functions and features as competitive products but without the usual limit on sample capture size and at much lower cost. Its compact design allows the device to be easily portable and simple to deploy.

The SDPA1000 SD Analyzer is now shipping.
