Energetiq Technology Inc. introduces the EQ-99FC Laser-Driven Light Source (LDLS). Expanding the company's LDLS product offerings, the EQ-99FC uses an integrated ellipsoidal collector to deliver ultra-high brightness UV-VIS-NIR light to a standard SMA fiber coupling.

LDLS products provide ultrahigh brightness from 170nm to 2100nm. This ability to cover such a broad spectrum makes it an economical and higher performance alternative to using traditional Xenon-arc or Deuterium lamps.

On top of this, the EQ-99FC has an integrated high-efficiency collection optic that delivers maximum brightness. The custom ellipsoidal collector ensures that the light brightness and power stability are maintained across the broad spectrum, and efficiently coupled into small diameter optical fibers.

Plus, the light source offers electrodeless operation with ultra-long lamp life--greater than ten times the lifetime of traditional electrode-driven lamps.
