Hittite Microwave Corp. debuts two successive detection log video amplifiers (SDLVAs). The HMC813 and HMC813LC4B operate over the 1GHz to 26GHz and 1GHz to 20GHz frequency ranges, respectively. They feature limited RF output feature, and are suited for applications including space and power-constrained ones, including EW and ELINT receivers, radar, ECM, IFM systems, and missile guidance.

Key features of the SDLVAs include: availability in die and ceramic 4x4mm SMT formats; class 1A ESD rating (250V HBM); logging range of 55dB; nominal log video output slope of 15mV/dB; process RF pulses with amplitudes from -53dBm to +7dBm with less than 10ns rise/fall times, and with recovery times of less than 20ns; frequency flatness of better than ?1.5dB at -25dBm input power_logarithmic linearity is better than ?0.5dB over the full -55C to +85C operating temperature range; and they consume less than 153mA from a single +3.3V supply.

The HMC813 and HMC813LC4B die samples, SMT product samples and evaluation PCBs for all SMT packaged products are available from stock.
