Air-cooled SBC suits industrial control apps

Extreme Engineering Solutions Inc. releases the XPedite7331, an air-cooled, 3U CompactPCI Express single board computer (SBC) touting an Intel Corei7 processor and Intel QM57 chipset.

The SBCs tout Intel Core i7-610E, -620LE or -620UE processors, and operate at 2.53GHz, 2GHz or 1.06GHz, respectively, and is suited for industrial control and test and measurement applications.

Other features of the SBC include up to 8GB of DDR3-1066 ECC SDRAM on two channels; up to 16GB of user flash and 32MB of redundant boot flash; XMC site; Gigabit Ethernet and USB UART serial port for additional flexibility; and OS support, such as Green Hills INTEGRITY board support package, Wind River VxWorks BSP, Linux BSP and Windows drivers.
