Premo releases Hall Effect 1kA current sensor

Premo recently unveiled a close-loop 1kA Hall Effect sensor intended for PV and wind inverter manufacturers. The new device is mechanical and electrically equivalent to LEM LF-1005-S.

The close-loop solution delivers high accuracy and linearity, and promises to keep values as low as 0.1 percent. The current sensor's overload capabilities have a measuring range of up to ±2kA.

The HCT-1000LF current sensor satisfies the highest safety requirements and is fully isolated with plastic housing, meeting isolation values higher than 6kVac.
