Acculogic Inc. will introduce the FLS940Sxi Flying Probe Test System, the single-sided, lower cost alternative to the company's double-sided Scorpion Flying Probe Tester line, in the upcoming IPC APEX EXPO on April 12-14, 2011. The system offers single-sided test capability and can be equipped with up to ten variable or fixed-angle probe modules. It offers AccuFast drives as standard features and can be equipped with the ScanProbe.

FLS940Sxi Flying Probe Test System

The FLS940Sxi offers all the test capabilities of the double-sided FLS980Dxi in a single-sided configuration including ease of use and programming with QuickTest; multiprobe testing; variable angle 3D probing; high fault coverage power-off in-circuit test; power-on testing including boundary scan JTAG, on-board device programming and function testing; linear surface motors for no-access limitation, simpler mechanics, easier maintenance and superior reliability and speed; and it offers the largest available probing area of 1,050 x 640mm for handling large boards.

The company will also be demonstrating its other products at the 2011 IPC APEX Expo. They will highlight the FLS 980Dxi Flying Scorpion double-sided, multiprobe flying probe system with 3D probing, analog, digital and boundary scan test capability on all probes (top- and bottom-side). The company will also feature the ScanNavigator (powered by Victory) software tool suite for boundary scan testing and programming of high-speed buses and interfaces such as LVDS, Fiber Channel, Gigabit Ethernet and more.
