Linear Technology Corp. rolls the LTC2632 and LTC2633 families of dual 12bit, 10bit and 8bit rail-to-rail, voltage output DACs, with serial SPI (LTC2632) or I2C (LTC2633) interfaces.

The LTC2632 and LTC2633 DACs offer DC performance with a 12bit INL of 1LSB (max), 5mV (max) offset error and 0.8 percent FSR (max) gain error. AC performance includes 4.4?s settling time and 2.8nV-s glitch impulse. Each dual DAC integrates a precision 10ppm/C reference into a tiny 8-lead 3 x 3mm TSOT-23 package. This cuts PCB size, making them suitable for industrial, automotive, portable communications and ATE applications.

Linear DACs

The LTC2632 and LTC2633 are available in a number of ordering options, allowing designers to select one of the three resolution options, and between a 2.5V (-L) or 4.096V (-H) full-scale output range, making them a good fit for 3V or 5V systems. The devices also offer zero or mid-scale power-on reset options, with the LTC2633-L additionally offering a high impedance (Hi-Z) output option, ideal for power supply margining applications. All options are guaranteed over the automotive (-40C to +125C) or commercial (0C to +70C) temperature ranges.
