Fluid dispenser offer .025mm accuracy

GPD Global, a manufacturer of precision fluid dispensing systems for high-volume 24/7, low-volume/high-mix and R&D production, introduces the MAX Series Dispensing Systems which are designed for high accuracy and repeatability applications.

"The MAX Series platform configured with PCD continuously volumetric dispense technology and a Micro-Dot pump gives customers the widest range of dispense capability in a single platform," said Christian Vega, sales manager.

The MAX Series platforms are designed for silver-filled conductive and nonconductive epoxies, solder pastes, adhesives, encapsulants and other fluids used in electronics assembly. The series is compatible with all of GPD Global's dispensing pumps, including the Micro-Dot for dispensing below 0.010" (0.250mm) and the continuously volumetric PCD Dispensing technology. The systems are designed with a 100 percent molded, unibody frame for accuracy and stability.

Combined with GPD's Contour Mapping software, the MAX Series provides ±0.001" (0.025mm) accuracy over the entire work area. With the ability to handle up to two different dispense pumps simultaneously, processes requiring multiple fluids can be handled easily. The MAX Series also may be configured with heat for applications such as underfill, encapsulation or others that may benefit from a heated product.
