Unity Technologies opens facility in South Korea

Unity Technologies Inc. has launched a subsidiary in South Korea that will be led by country manager William Hugo Yang, who has previously worked as an analyst and consultant overseeing the Korean gaming and e-commerce industries. Unity Korea will serve as a localization and support hub for the further expansion of Unity in Korea.

"Whether you're an independent studio or a large development team, Unity offers the tools and assets to make cross platform development a reality. As the Korean development community continues to grow, we will provide our expanding Korean user base fully localized tools and documentation, as well as dedicated technical support," said Yang, who has spent three years at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a committed supporter of the local independent games and media industries.
