Infinera sets up APAC facility in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong facility that will be staffed by sales, engineering, technical and operational support teams will enable Infinera to gain ongoing, in-depth understanding of market requirements and respond faster to customers' needs.
According to a recent research from Ovum, the global optical networking equipment market is driven by the continuing need for bandwidth and is expected to reach $20 billion by 2015 with 5 percent CAGR. APAC was identified as the number one growth region for optical networking sales. As one of the global leaders for quality and highly scalable solutions, Infinera is well positioned to meet the growing need for efficient and reliable networks, the company stated.
