According to the recent In-Stat research, business spending for voice, messaging and data plans is expected to rise 37 percent from 2010C2015, buoyed by the proliferation of wireless handsets and a range of applications and data service plans.

"Across all sizes of business, more and more businesses are realizing the benefits of having data access in their wireless handsets," stated Greg Potter, analyst at In-Stat. "It allows their employees to work both on the road and at home, having access to email and other business applications from their smartphone that enables them to be connected and more efficient."
