RF switch tout 0.4dB insertion loss at 1GHz
Keywords:RF switch? diversity routing? ESD protection?
The switch delivers 0.4dB insertion loss and 40dB isolation at 1GHz and is optimized for diversity routing with 1.3V GPIO control voltage compatibility, stated RFMD. Additionally, RF1604D includes integrated decoding logic, allowing just two control lines needed for switch control. It is packaged in 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.6mm, 12-pin, leadless QFN package. No DC-blocking capacitors are required on RF paths unless DC is applied externally to the device ports.

The RF1604D features 2kV HBM ESD protection on all ports >2.7GHz frequency operation. In addition, it is compatible with low voltage logic (VHIGH Min=1.3V) and needs no external DC blocking capacitors on RF paths. Vishay added that the RF switches can be used in multimode GSM/EDGE/WCDMA and LTE, and in cellular infrastructure.
The RF1604D is available for $0.98 each for 100 pieces.
