Keywords:offsets? probes? amplifier?

Individuals working with Agilent InfiniiMax probes probably understand how offset is applied when they use them in single-ended or differential modes. However, they may not have a clear picture of the effects of using offsets. Offsets are applied differently depending on the type of probe head you use and the nature of the signal.

In this application note, we will explain how signal offsets and oscilloscope/probe amplifier offsets interact with respect to the dynamic range of the probe amplifiers.
