Fabless firm rolls 256Mb/512Mb SLC NAND flash

ATO Solution Co. Ltd has announced that it is mass producing 256Mb and 512MB SLC NAND flash products that offer 1.8V and 3.3V options as well as 2.64MB/s for program-write-output, and I/O data transfer rate of 267Mb/s. The devices are available in standard TSOP, BGA and MCP packages.

The company is aiming the devices at China's feature phone market, and has completed quality approval by mobile baseband chip suppliers. It started to supply its products to mobile market in May 2012, and is processing quality approval for consumer applications including DSCs, STBs, black box, POS, and networks. By the end of 2012, the company is scheduled to release 1Gb SLC NAND flash products.
