Brazil, Russia push telematics penetration

ABI Research reports on the market for connected car solutions. According to the analyst, global OEM connected car system penetration will rise from 11.4 percent in 2012 to 60.1 percent in 2017.

Penetration in the United States and Western Europe is seen to top 80 percent by 2017. Also, driven by mandates in Brazil and Russia, Latin America and Eastern Europe will also see strong increases in telematics penetration in new vehicles.
