LeCroy Corp. has added the Dxx30 series with models available at 8GHz, 10GHz, and 13GHz used for measuring high-speed DDR signals such as DDR3, DDR4, and LPDDR3. These WaveLink series of differential probes provide a dynamic range of 3.5V pk-pk and an offset range of 4V.

The Dxx30 series is supplied with two solder-in leads (Dxx30-SI) rated to the full bandwidth of the probe amplifier. It is offered either as modular components or as complete probe systems. The solder-in tip employs an external terminating resistor located as close to the circuit as possible to minimize tip inductance, maximize tip resistance and provide the highest possible impedance, and best loading over a broad range of frequencies. A square pin lead rated at 3GHz is also provided.

An optional positioner (browser) tip with connection accessories (Dxx30-PT-KIT) is available for the probes. The Dxx30-PT tip uses pogo-pin tips for positive contact and wide tip-adjustment spread with bandwidth up to 10GHz. Connection accessories include an XYZ positioner and variety of connections to other positioning device. A handheld wand is also included.
