Fujitsu Semiconductor Asia Pte Ltd (FSAL) has recently unveiled the MB85RC256V, a new addition to the their V series. The company has already released FRAM products in its V series covering capacities of 4Kbit, 16Kbit, 64Kbit and 256Kbit.

The MB85RC256V has been touted as the company's first FRAM product that operates in voltages ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V, which benefits design in areas that require components of wide voltage range.

The FRAM product combines the non-volatile data memory characteristic of ROM with the advantages of RAM, featuring infinite read/write times, fast read/write cycles and low-power consumption as well. The Fujitsu FRAM product series supports various types of interfaces and capacities, including serial and parallel interfaces of industrial standard.

Fujitsu FRAM products are superior to other non-volatile memories with high speed read/write access, high endurance and low-power consumption. FRAM products are widely used in various advanced segments, such as metering, industrial control, automotive electronics as well as financial POS where high speed read/write access, high endurance and low-power consumption are essential.

With in-house development and manufacturing, Fujitsu is able to optimise collaboration between design and manufacturing at the factory. Having a stable supply chain provides the basis for Fujitsu to offer a substantial and high-quality product to the market.
