David Kirk, President of Murata Americas said, "This is a natural collaboration for our companies. RFID offers great potential compared to traditional identification and tracking methods, but this technology must be part of a complete solution to make it easy-to-use and implement. Cogiscan is the clear leader in PCB tracking and traceability in our industry and they have more than 12 years of experience working with related software and RFID technology. Together we will bring a world-class solution out-of-the-box."
Fran?ois Monette, Co-President for Cogiscan, stated, "We are pleased to be associated with a world-class technology company like Murata. We have always believed in the potential of RFID for PCB track, trace, and control applications. Now there is an off-the-shelf solution available from well-established suppliers at a reasonable cost and we look forward to implementing this technology in a wide variety of electronic products. "
