Embedded multi-variate analysis sol'n geared for OEMs

Umetrics has unveiled its SIMCA-Q 13 that according to the company is a multi-variate building block for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The company added that the solution allows the user to embed a computational engine into a software, to have access to a multi-variate tool-box from within MATLAB, LabVIEW, Excel or a web page, or to simply perform standardised routine multi-variate tasks.

SIMCA-Q simplifies and speeds up routine multi-variate data analysis work in a user-recognised environment allowing the user to focus on the results, noted Umetrics. It also reduces the risk of human errors by automating multi-variate modelling or predictions.

Multivariate methods build models from the correlation structure between parameters in large volumes of data that may contain missing values. This enables highly valuable prediction models, data overviews, classification possibilities, cluster analysis, batch analysis and hierarchical models, added the company.
