R&S RTO, R&S RTM oscilloscopes tweaked for power supplies

Rohde & Schwarz recently unveiled the R&S RTO and R&S RTM oscilloscopes for analysis of power supply units. The frontends of both instruments have outstanding features offering clear advantages over other solutions. Their high dynamic range allows for precise characterisation of the power on operations of an embedded system.

Power analysis requires that users measure voltage and current. For this purpose, Rohde & Schwarz offers high end voltage and current probes as well as the new R&S RT-ZF20 deskew fixture, making it easy to measure delay differences, which can then be corrected in the oscilloscope. The fixture will debut at the 2013 embedded world trade fair with an application for power measurements with the R&S RTM universal oscilloscope.
