LNA boasts 0.7 to 3.8GHz noise figure performance

A new 0.7-3.8GHz ultra-low noise amplifier from Skyworks Solutions was recently announced by Richardson RFPD.

The SKY67151-396LF is a GaAs, pHEMT low noise amplifier (LNA) with an active bias, high linearity, superior gain, and industry-leading noise figure performance from 0.7 to 3.8GHz. It features Skyworks' advanced pHEMT enhancement mode process in a compact 2x2mm, 8-pin Dual Flat No-Lead (DFN) package.

The new LNA is ideally-suited for a range of infrastructure, and military and satellite radio applications, including LTE, GSM, WCDMA, HSDPA macro and micro base stations, L- and S-band ultra-low noise receivers, cellular repeaters, DAS and RRH/RRUs, and high temperature transceiver applications to +105C.

Additional features of the SKY67151-396LF include:

  • Ultra-low noise figure: as low as 0.25 dB
  • High gain: 26 dB @ 1.0GHz
  • Adjustable supply current: 30- 100 mA
  • High linear output: 36 dBm OIP3
  • Flexible bias voltage: 3 to 5 V
