HTC One laboriously dismantled

HTC One is almost impossible to disassemble and repair but has some interesting new features. The iFixit team found some aspects of the phone innovative but gave it a dismal one out of ten for ease of repair (ten being the easiest). Here's an excerpt from the teardown led by Kyle Wiens, founder of the free repair-manual site:

It's no surprise that HTC appears to be taking a cue from the iPhone 5's design pattern in creating a sleek aluminium-bodied phone.
