PoE injectors,PoE switches ready for security challenges

Antaira has revealed two of its Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, the PoE injector LNP-201AG-T and the PoE switch LNP-1002GN. The company's latest PoE solutions hope to provide an easy and fast installation of IP video surveillance equipment.

The LNP-201AG-T is a high power PoE injector with one port 10/100/1000Base-T dedicated to data input and 1 port focused on PoE output up to 30 Watts, fully compliance with 802.3at. The 24 to 48VDC power input range increases flexibility on application such as in airports, in-vehicle, retail or transportation markets. By using the PoE injector, non-PoE switches can transmit power and data to PoE devices such as VOIP phones, IP cameras and Access Points.

On the other hand, the LNP-1002GN comes with with 8x 10/100 Base TX ports +2 x Gigabit Combo ports. It features comprehensive management functions such as Quality of Service (QoS), Spanning Tree, RSTP, VLAN support, bandwidth allocation and IGMP snooping. It supports a maximum output power per port of 15.4W over 6 ports.
