5W fixed blade USB adapter for personal electronics

Power solutions specialist Phihong USA recently introduced a new, low cost, 5W, fixed blade, USB power adapter for personal electronics. Designated the PSA05A, the new USB wall plug adapter is compliant with North American input voltages and has a Level V efficiency compliant output of 5VDC and 1A, which is ideal for charging lithium-ion batteries in small devices with touch screens.

Phihong's new 5W USB chargers are equipped with over-voltage protection, over-current protection and short circuit protection and have a no-load power draw of less than 0.03W. In addition to Level V efficiency compliance, the wall plug also features a 5-Star standby power rating, as well as safety approvals from UL and cUL.

The PSA05A USB adapter measures 58.16x42.92x21.08mm and weighs 3oz. Further information about the USB adapter can be found here.
