High-reliability connectors boast up to 35% less footprint

TTI has announced the availability of the Harwin Gecko (G125) Series Hi-Rel connectors. According to the company, the products provide a low-profile dual-row cable-to-board and board-to-board interconnect solution in a miniature package.

Answering the requirement to save space and weight in high-reliability applications, the Gecko Series is based on 1.25mm pin spacing, resulting in up to 35 percent space saving over other high-performance connectors such as Micro-D, boasted the company.

Gecko connectors are rated to handle 2A per contact and offer up to 50 contacts per connector.
