International Rectifier (IR) has rolled out the HTH27022S and HTM27092S isolated hybrid hermetic DC/DC converters for high temperature and high shock environments such as oil drilling applications and mud turbine generators.
Featuring an operating case temperature of 165°C with transient up to 175°C and with a high nominal input voltage of 270V, the HTH27022S and HTM27092S are commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) converters that can significantly reduce design cycle time, size and design costs associated with high temperature applications.
The products feature internal EMI filter, magnetically coupled current feedback, under-voltage lockout, output over-voltage limiter, external inhibit and short circuit and overload protection.
Additional features include small size, low weight and high tolerance to environmental stresses such as wide temperature extremes and severe shock and vibration. Electrical and environmental qualification reports are available for order through local sales representatives.
Pricing for the HTH27022S and HTM27092S begins at $2,500 each in 100-unit quantities for fully screened parts. Production orders are available immediately. Prices are subject to change.
