Lantronix announces M2M professional services

Lantronix Inc. has unveiled its Lantronix professional services geared to assist customers in the development and deployment of custom machine-to-machine (M2M) applications and solutions. According to the firm, the range of services includes minor engineering to large, enterprise-level projects, such as developing fully-customized versions and deployments of Lantronix products.

Industry analysts estimate there are more than 15 billion connected devices on the Internet: from PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablets, to factory equipment, vending machines and security systems. International Data Corp. (IDC) estimates the components, processes and supporting IT and connectivity for IoT, and the related IoT services spending to generate global revenues of $8.9 trillion by 2020, growing at a CAGR of 7.9 percent, all supporting an estimated 212 billion connected devices by 2020.

Through its professional services, Lantronix offers a broad range of services to assist customers with every stage of implementing an M2M solution, from planning, assessment and design to implementation, testing and post-deployment support. For customers with existing M2M installments, Lantronix provides comprehensive, real-time device management and diagnostic tools to ensure consistent application performance and operational efficiency, the company added.
