Fairview Microwave has debuted a series of band pass and band reject tunable filters rated to 50W power handling and designed with N female connectors.
The band pass devices are capable of octave-band tuning from 125MHz to 3GHz, and a 5 per cent pass band. They employ a five-section tunable design and have a mechanical dial boasting accuracy within one per cent.
The band reject devices, meanwhile, have an octave-band tuning ranges from 100MHz to 2GHz, and a one per cent reject band. These filters use a three-section design and have a mechanical dial tuner accurate to 0.5 per cent.
The filters are intended for testing frequency bands including PCS, UHF, PMR, Tetra, LTE, and Wi-Fi. They are effective in band selection or frequency discrimination with high attenuation greater than 50dB possible, allowing for excellent noise, harmonic and adjacent-band reduction.
They are housed in rugged aluminium casings, with its critical surfaces silver-plated, adding durability.
