Telit Wireless Solutions has announced that the ARM Compiler is now available at the Telit AppZone, its development environment for the GE910, HE910, UE910, UE866 and UL865 cellular modules.

By agreement with ARM, Telit can now offer the ARM Compiler as an option for optimal performance and size management. For professional grade, real-time functionality, the optional ARM Compiler enables you to take full advantage of the module's embedded processing capabilities.

The ARM Compiler is the only build toolchain specifically designed to optimise software running on ARM processors. It incorporates a highly optimising C/C++ compiler, assembler, linker and libraries for embedded software development.

Telit AppZone is an integrated Application Development Environment which provides a full suite of development tools that a developer needs to start software development immediately.

"The addition of the ARM Compiler as a developer resource will enable AppZone developers to maximise the performance of their ARM-based devices while maintaining a minimum of code footprint," said Javier Orensanz, director of marketing, development solutions group, ARM.
