ARM Compiler boosts embedded processing of cellular modules

Telit Wireless Solutions has rolled out the ARM Compiler as an optional addition to the Telit AppZone, the integrated development environment for its GE910, HE910, UE910, UE866 and UL865 cellular modules. With its partnership with ARM, Telit is able offer the ARM Compiler as an option for optimal performance and size management. For professional grade, real-time functionality, the ARM Compiler enables the user to take full advantage of the module's embedded processing.

The ARM Compiler claims to be the only build toolchain specifically designed to optimise software running on ARM processors. It is the result of 20 years of development alongside the ARM architecture, enabling developers to profit from the extended ARM instruction set. The ARM Compiler toolchain incorporates a highly optimising C/C++ compiler, assembler, linker and libraries for embedded software development.

Telit AppZone is an integrated application development environment that offer a full suite of development tools including everything you need in order to start develop immediately.
