Intel Woos China


Intel took centre stage in the Hall 1 at CES Asia. The CPU giant pitched a range of Intel technologies including mobile, wearable and 3D camera.

RealSense 3D camera

Intel describes RealSense 3D camera as "the world's first 3D-depth integrated camera module that helps devices 'see' depth much like the human eye." The face of an attendee who stood in front of the RealSense camera was captured in 3D.

Images on a PC display respond to gestures captured by the RealSense camera.


An earbud shown above is integrated with an optical sensor and is capable of tracking one's heart rate. Intel's IP is in drawing power from the audio jack of a smartphone.
