Skyworks Solutions Inc. has rolled out what it describes as a low-loss, high-performance wideband DC-6GHz hermetic gallium arsenide (GaAs) IC single-pole single-throw (SPST) non-reflective switch.
Geared for high-reliability space, satellite and defence applications, the ISO13316 performs with 45dB isolation at 2GHz and low loss of 1.1dB at 6GHz. Testing is available to the screening requirements of MIL-PRF-38535 Class B and S, in addition to the required quality conformance inspection (QCI).
The ISO13316 die is produced with Skyworks' GaAs pseudomorphic high-electron-mobility transistor (pHEMT) process that has shown radiation tolerance to 100kRad. The device is provided in a 7-lead surface-mount technology (SMT) 0.9779cm x 8763cm x 1651cm package.
Samples and evaluation boards are available. Pricing depends on quantities.
