By using the sensors to track the horse's postures, gate and other variables, Horse Sense, hopes save both the lives of horses and their jockey. In all, the Pegasus houses an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, temperature sensor, pressure sensor as well as fused recognition of standing, lying down, resting, running and other postures that can tip off vets of potential problems before they become tragic.
