What is analogue-to-digital converter?
An electronic circuit that converts a continuously varying signal (temperature, pressure, voltage, etc.) into digital number comprising zeroes and ones. Applications include anything that involves the digital processing of signals by a digital signal processor, microprocessor or microcontroller. |
